Exciting topics such as communication, camouflage, warning behavior, hunting strategies, and the diversity of limbless reptiles
and amphibians, as well as the endangerment due to habitat loss, climate change, disease, and poaching are illustrated with
numerous examples. Get to know Austria’s 15 reptile and 21 amphibian species, as well as the extinct Hungarian meadow viper
and listen to the calls of native frogs. A unique historical feature is the Siebenrock turtle collection with hinged shells that allow a view of the skeletons inside.
