Alpine Glaciers in Transition: Historical Comparison Photographs by Jürgen Merz
The Natural History Museum Vienna is dedicating a special exhibition to glacier photography by Jürgen Merz. From 20 November
2025 to 10 January 2027, the exhibition "Alpine Glaciers in Transition: Historical Comparison Photographs" will be on display.

Resistance – Death – Survival. The Archaeological Excavations of the Gusen Concentration Camp
In the course of an art project in memory of Dr. Johann Gruber at the Private University of Education of the Diocese of Linz,
the artist Christian Kosmas Meyer discovered the finds of the archaeological excavations in the Gusen concentration camp,
which are now preserved in the Natural History Museum Vienna.

New permanent theme room in the Narrenturm: The Art of Moulage. Perpetuated clinical pictures
Building on the special exhibition on Moulagen in 2024, larger parts of the collection will now be permanently presented in
a dedicated theme room. The moulages not only have a medical-historical value, but also present real diseases – if they cannot
be treated for various reasons.

Special exhibition: TWO VIEWS ON PLANTS – 3D photography by Sebastian Cramer
"TWO VIEWS ON PLANTS" is the title of the exhibition, which presents 3D photographic works
by the internationally renowned filmmaker, cameraman and photographer Sebastian Cramer. The exhibition uses an innovative
form of historical stereophotography. The focus of the project is on plants, which form the central foundation of our physical
and physical health.
