Richard Payer

In 1927 the Natural History Museum acquired part of the estate of Richard Payer (1836 Teplitz-after 1912 -), the brother of the famous Alpine and Polar explorer Julius Payer. 

His drawings, watercolours, maps and some of his notebooks and diaries are kept in the Department of Archives and History of Science.
