REGISTRATION

Online-only registrations are possible at until February 5th 2027.

The registration fee is 150 EUR, and 100 EUR for undergraduate students. The registration fee covers the costs of the snacks and drinks during lectures and refreshments at Icebreaker and excursion (bus, cable car, entrance fees). Accommodation fee for the field excursion is 150 EUR (2 nights including dinner and breakfast, but no drinks) and has to be payed at the accommodation.

 

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Abstracts must be written and submitted in English by February 5th 2027 to . Abstract requires preferred presentation type (poster/lecture), title, authors, affiliations, and plain text not extending one A4 page / 500 words. Authors will be approached in time about their final presentation type.

All sessions have a connection to karst and caves:
  • Geophysics
  • Tectonics & hydrogeology
  • Hydrogeological modelling (with focus on models which include geology, morphology and soil)
  • Quality parameter (microbiology, sediments and pollutants e.g. microplastic transport)


Field excursion

  • Major springs for Vienna Water supply (Hochschwab)
  • Karst features and morphology at Rax plateau
  • Impressive cave spring (Totes Weib)
Accomondation for all participants will be organised at Freinerhof.
